Tim qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and has specialised in employment law ever since. He trained and spent 7 years at what is now Herbert Smith Freehills and was a partner at DWF for nearly 30 years before joining Analysis Legal in 2025.

Tim acts mainly for employer clients and senior executives on the full range of employment issues. He has experience of acting for clients operating in a wide range of different sectors, including food, manufacturing and media. He has particular expertise in relation to TUPE (including major outsourcing exercises), large scale redundancies (including site closures), executive severance issues and Employment Tribunal Claims. He has regularly received client plaudits in the Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 directories.
